I have just published an article in Emergency Medicine News
regarding the AHA’s promotion of AEDs in hospitals,recommending changing
the guideline (because AEDs don’t help). I say that in addition to the negative
evidence, the original decision was illegitimate because evidence detailed in
an invited evidence-based worksheet was not considered (i.e., was suppressed).
